With a hit TV show and graphic novels flying off of the shelves, it’s amazing that Robert Kirkman and his beard can keep Mark Grayson and his Viltrumites heritage on a monthly schedule over in Invincible! It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years in to the Superboy/Spidey analogue superhero book that is our favorite superhero book. Issue #100 of the chronically punctual Invincible hits shelves today - and everyone dies! It’s part three of “The Death of Everyone”, EXTRA-SIZED! … What’s The Answer? It’s Mike Norton (It Girl, Battlepug) and Dennis Hopeless (Avengers Academy, Cable and X-Force) selling books for Dark Horse this time. A sleepless librarian and an anonymous faceless crime fighter team up to solve the secret of the sinister speaker! … Marvel Universe Ultimate Spider-Man #10 is quite simply the comic that goes along with the TV show, for kids. It’s your kid’s Peter Parker for the show you’re gonna Thwipt it with on Saturday AM. Congrats, boyos! … Scratching the itch you didn’t know you had is the Transformers comic from 1984. #81 of a Four Issue Limited Series is regenerated from IDW this week. Taking a cue from Hama’s G.I. EARTH PRIME TIME: INFINITE SADNESS, LIEFELD & KIRKMAN SERIES CANCELED

Infiinite #2 - Liefeld / McFarlane (variant)

Just months before San Diego Comic-Con last year, The Walking Dead writer and Skybound publisher Robert Kirkman announced a new project with Image Comics co-founder Rob Liefeld. The Infinite is the story of 40-year-old Bowen, who has traveled back in time to team up with his 19-year-old self to battle an evil organization called The Infinite. The Infinite Volume 1 collects the first four issues, and is available in stores. Rob Liefeld cited creative differences with Kirkman on Twitter this weekend as the cause for the end of the book.

Truth is, Mark Grayson has seen so much destruction since discovering his powers and taking on the baddest of bads that it may be time for him to hang up the mask. Don’t miss Invincible #84. … Betrayal of the Planet of the Apes #1 is co-written and drawn by Gabriel Hardman (Inception, Incredible Hulk). Boom! Studios stays well within the original movie canon pitting General Aleron face to face with Dr. Zaius! … The publisher’s KABOOM! kids line is fortunate enough to welcome Charlie Brown and pals back to monthly all-new original comics with Peanuts #0 for a cool buck!
