DO617: Thanks for joining us, William. You were a featured artist at one of our events in 2017 with Emo Night Brooklyn at Brighton Music Hall. What have you learned since then and your last release about yourself and songwriting?
William Ryan Key: I have certainly learned a lot more about creating my own sound. It’s been a really great learning process across both EPs that I have released. With “Virtue”, I fee like I really started to discover a firm identity as a solo artist. It took me a while to figure out what life after Yellowcard was going to mean for me, so finishing the EP was very liberating.
