DO617: What makes you want to take your LeVar Burton Reads show on tour?
LeVar Burton: Doing a live version of the podcast brings the dynamic of an audience into the experience. Reading aloud to an audience is a vastly different experience for me than reading a story to myself or even reading aloud into a microphone for an invisible audience. Season 3 of the podcast just ended last month.
